Type of Hair Loss

Hair Loss Types (Norwood / Hamilton Scale)
Doctor Hamilton first categorized androgenic hair loss at 1951. Then Doctor Norwood improved the scale at 1975. This scale is used as a guide for determining the level of androgenic hair loss.
 
 
 
The hair loss is categorized in 7 levels. As seen on Level 1, the loss begins from hair line and temporal sides. On Level 2 & 3 by continuous hair loss, the loss area within hairline and temporal sides increases and loss starts also from vertex. By the Level 4A, bald areas can easily be seen. At this point , individual becomes a candidate for hair transplantation.
 
Model 1
 
The hair line of individual starts recession. The operation plan must be carefully determined. Especially young individuals’ operation plan must be perfectly done due to continious hair loss. After transplantation, the loss should continiue and transplantation have an ineffective potential. For solutions, individual may  look up alternative solutions such as cosmetics ,but this approach can be inadequate. By PRP and mezotherapy, hair should be strengthened. By the way shampoos with spesific chemicals, cures and nutritional support.
 
Model 2-2A
 
Yet the hair line is lost and now transplantation can be on progress. Hair line must be planned carefully according to golden ratio, age and to drill holes is recommended. By this way the exact greft number can be programmed. So the individual may still have donor grefts for later operations. With Model 2 and 2A there is only one part without hair; in the operation of Model 2, the frequency must be increased by transplantation.
 
Model 3-3A-Vertex
 
Model 3 and 3A, the hair line goes back to vertex with loss, by the way hair transplantation must be progressed. The planning process must be done carefully , according to futurehair loss by age and also according to the temporal and forehead  potential hair loss.
By 3 V frontal part and vertex must be drilled and transplanted.The holes drilled in vertex must be parallel to skin within multi-directions to implement high numbered grefts. By possible future hair lossin vertex , the next transplantation must be calculated.
 
Model 4-4A
 
Model 4 vertex should be scanned and the line from hair front line to vertex must be carefully filled and the operation should be completed.
+A without loss in vertex, hair front line and the upper side of the head must be transplanted properly syncronised to the hair loss parts.
 
Model 5-5A
 
Model 5 there should be a bit of hair between vertex and hair front line , but there is potential future hair loss possibility . According to this occasion, hair line must be structured and transplantation plan and scanning must be done under the possibility of future hair loss such as there is no hair.
Model 5A the whole upper side is empty. So the whole area should be scanned. And also operation plan must be done under the possibility of next transplantation operations. Then donor hair grefts remaining has another  importance. After a year from transplantation, another one can be planned and the planning process must be excellent.
 
 
Model 6-7
 
Model 6&7 hair loss is in the last level. Hairy zones begin under ears. By the way this individuals operation must be carefully planned.By a wrong planning, and transplantations, there should be little areas and hairy zones with less quantity and quality. In the operation plan hair line and vertex scanned, and at the end of first year , a new operation should be planned. Or by micropigmentation the alopesic areas should be effected as hair roots.
